Lady Gaga was so impressed by 12 year old Greyson Chance’s rendition of her hit song “Paparazzi,” she helped him sign a deal with her record label, Interscope.

Greyson became an internet sensation after performing “Paparazzi” at a church function. The clip has over 17 million hits on YouTube.

Greyson was on the Ellen DeGeneres Show last week and Gaga surprised Greyson by calling into the show and saying she loved the video. Gaga said that Greyson is” sweet and talented.” She added, “I’m so excited that you covered ‘Paparazzi.’ Just keep following your dreams and work really hard and stay away from girls.”
