We Are The World To Be Released On February 12th

More than 75 singers, including Kanye West, Pink, Barbra Streisand and Celine Dion gathered on Monday to re-record “We Are The World” in Hollywood to raise money for Haiti.

The song will air on NBC on February 12th during the opening ceremony of the Vancouver Winter Olympics. Academy award-winning director Paul Haggis has recorded the session to create the accompanying video.

Both the song and an accompanying video, will go on sale both through traditional and online retailers.
