I recently caught up with Owen Strombeck, drummer for Mercury Crossing. He is part of a rock band out in Milwaukee making music and trying to get known, like everyone else I suppose. His band brings the goods and I think they need to be heard more. To this end, I chatted with Owen to see what is going on with the band and what makes them tick.

Follow along as we talk about all things with the band:

Owen is a straight shooter. He answered my questions and gave some good insight into himself and the band. What I found the most interesting and revealing was his being open about the struggles of getting the music out there and getting known. I can relate to him a lot and I definitely understood his struggles.

Mercury Crossing is exactly the kind of band I am here to write about. Their music is great and they just need an opportunity. I hope that in writing about them I may help them get the chance they deserve.
