Rage – Strings To A Web

Rage – Strings To A Web
With over 25 years under their belts, 18 studio albums to their current name, and a slew of former guitarists, Germany’s Rage remains a thunderous force in the heavy metal movement. From high-voltage Heavy Metal of the mid-1980s to the super-symphonic metal musings of today, these time-tested relics...

Deftones- Diamond Eyes

Deftones- Diamond Eyes
Few things have found themselves to remain true over the last two decades, however… The Yankees will compete for the pennant. The only thing that can stop the Lakers is a dam. Bill Clinton still walks and talks like a pimp on the strip. Al Gore is still a noon hour stand-up comedian. And the Deftones...

Escape The Fate @ Hot Topic (Montebello, CA)
Photos By: Phil Reed The time approached 6 p.m. here at the The Shops and Montebello. As I cruised through the vacant mall searching for Hot Topic I begin to notice them. Sick of it All- Based on a True Story

Sick of it All- Based on a True Story
It took me 40 minutes to break four guitar strings, blow out a tube, and grind my fingers raw. I’ve never pulled that off before in my decade swinging and strumming guitars, but that was before I played through a Sick Of It All album. Now that my finger tips are taped up, here’s how it all happened. After...

Since Yesterday- The Artificial Truth

Since Yesterday- The Artificial Truth
With the download complete, I finally had in my possession the first full length feature by an obscure Turkish band. I hadn’t heard of Since Yesterday at the time, but I was in for a big surprise. Loaded up, I started off the album, however, a 10 second or so Nine Inch Nails styled intro greets my...

Omega Crom- Blood, Steel and Fire

Omega Crom- Blood, Steel and Fire
Silent across the waters they rowed; chains clinching to life signaling, to their foes with only seconds to spare. Then the chaos erupts upon them and screams of agony rip down their lines. There is no chance for them now, no power to stop this warpath. Omega Crom’s debut album, “Blood, Steel and...
